Meet Dr. Yonatan Mandelbaum

Dr. Mandelbaum has been in private practice for the better half of a decade, working with clients through both in person and video sessions. Dr. Mandelbaum has also worked in multiple settings over the course of the last 10 years with a wide range of people struggling with a variety of mental health and behavioral issues. Dr. Mandelbaum trained at Pace University where he completed a MSEd in School Psychology and a PsyD in School-Clinical Child Psychology and received extensive training in Cognitive Behavioral and Psychodynamic therapy approaches. Throughout his time at Pace University, Dr. Mandelbaum spent four years as a psychotherapist at The Thomas J. McShane Center at Pace University providing outpatient psychotherapy for college-aged young adults. Dr. Mandelbaum spent two years as a school psychology extern in the Rye City School District before working as a psychology extern at Rockland Children Psychiatric Center. Dr. Mandelbaum was then a psychology intern at Green Chimneys Residential Treatment Center in Brewster, New York, conducting individual, group, and family therapy, as well as psychological evaluations for children and adolescents.
Following his internship at Green Chimneys, Dr. Mandelbaum joined The COR Group (now known as Inspire Wellness), a group private practice in Bergen County, NJ, where he worked with children, adolescents, and adults as a post-doctoral fellow before becoming a full-time licensed psychologist there. Dr. Mandelbaum then broadened his clinical skills with CHE Psychological Services working with elderly adults as a psychologist in a nursing home setting in the Bronx. Following that experience, Dr. Mandelbaum worked as a psychologist at Montefiore Medical Center in the School Health Program providing mental health services to adolescents within the NYC public school system. Dr. Mandelbaum currently works as the Health and Wellness Coordinator at SAR High School and is part of the health and wellness team that supports students and their social and emotional wellbeing, and their educational success.
